Our Mission:

We exist to seed renewal in the church and the culture

by helping people love and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lots of people believe in God or fear God. A good number even obey God. But the gospel is better than that—it promises we can actually love God. We exist to help people to live what is good and true and beautiful because they actually want to. We create resources and relationship opportunities that help people love God in their daily lives with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Populating the world with people like this is how, one person, one right action, one habit at a time, we seed renewal in the church and culture.

The Name, “Shema”

comes from our biblical foundation. It is a prayer found in Deuteronomy 6 that Jesus later names as key for knowing our true identity as we come to love God and do God’s will.

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
